The primary home care program is a non-skilled, medically related personal care services provided to adults whose problems cause them to be functionally limited in performing activities of daily living. A caseworker from the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) or from a managed care organization (MCO) such as Superior, Molina and HealthSprings will determine your eligibility. A statement of medical need may be required by your doctor as well.

Services can include help with home chores and personal care tasks such as:

• Housekeeping
• Meal preparation
• Laundry
• Grooming/Dressing
• Shopping
• Transfer/Ambulation
• Helping with medications

A provider can be someone you know who does not live with you as a friend, relative or spouse. Our agency can also find a provider for you. Criminal background checks and DADS credentialing sanctions database registries are checked prior to hiring.
